Continuing the theme of experimentation with abstract patterns and techniques, I used a heart shape (organic rather than symbolic) as a base for some tests with Mograph and Tracer. I also tried soem tests with the equivilent version in Maya using Mash.
Read MoreAs with many creations, this started out from a series of experiments which kind of snowballed. I was playing around with Maya's MASH system, and I found that I was getting some nice abstract patterns that reminded me of the Sumi-e ink wash painting style. Perhaps not so much in form, but in style, well in a very distant and abstract way.
